February 3, 2009 – 2:49 amO Δημήτρης Γλέζος ανακοίνωσε ήδη το 3ο Open Coffee Πάτρας το οποίο θα λάβει μέρος την Τετάρτη 4 Φεβρουαρίου στο χώρο της Ποικίλης Στοάς (χάρτης) περίπου στις 7μμ. Να είστε όλοι εκεί γιατί για ακόμα μια φορά το πρόγραμμα είναι γεμάτο και με πολλές και ενδιαφέρουσες παρουσιάσεις. Δυστυχώς δεν θα μπορέσω να είμαι εκεί αλλά πιστεύω πως όλα είναι έτοιμα και οι παρουσιάσεις θα τραβίξουν το ενδιαφέρον όλων εκεί.
Open Breakfast Patras #1 - the minutes
January 19, 2009 – 1:22 amThe first Open Breakfast in Patras was successful. We were more than 15 people at a beautiful place talking about Greek startups, new ideas, and future meetings while drinking nice coffee. Special presence was the President and CEO of the Patras Science Park Prof. Petros P. Groumpos. He gave us many advices and information about the current status of Greek startups and what are the first steps for someone to start his own business. I believe that the next meetings of the Open Breakfast in Patras will be promising with more surprises and good news.
Multitasking periods
January 17, 2009 – 7:40 pmAccording to some people multitasking isn’t so easy to be managed and sometimes cannot help you succeed in a high level to the target that you have. There are some others who claim that if you can manage multitasking things or if you can just afford periods based on this concept, then you have special skills and you have something that no one teaches you in school but you have learn it on your own.
Last years I find myself working all the time under this concept. I think that I can manage now better my time but I feel that it’s important sometimes to focus on the target we have in order to succeed.
In the meanwhile there are many blogs, articles and books that can help you with tips and tricks in order to manage your time better and handle difficult situations under which you have to work in different and parallel tasks.
The 4-hour workweek book
January 14, 2009 – 12:33 pm| Some days ago I started reading a book of Timothy Ferriss with title “The 4-hour workweek”. I wasn’t so excited while reading the first pages but after some reading days I started writing down some notes which made me thing of changing the way I’m thinking about several situations in my work and generally the way a work every day. It’s true that the author writes long stories with bold claims and promises. But through the text there are many useful tips that someone can adopt with many valid points. Maybe another post review will be written after the end of reading! |  |
